Lightyear Capital Names Daniel Freyman Vice President

NEW YORK, NY (April 29, 2007) – Lightyear Capital LLC (“Lightyear”), a private equity firm focused on financial services, announced the recent appointment of Daniel S. Freyman as Vice President.  Mr. Freyman will primarily focus on evaluating and executing new deals.

Mr. Freyman spent the last eight years in the Financial Institutions Group at Credit Suisse, most recently as a Director, where he advised on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and other transactions.  Throughout his career, Mr. Freyman has developed significant industry knowledge across a broad range of sectors within financial services, including insurance, asset management, and specialty finance. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Mr. Freyman worked at Alex. Brown Incorporated, where he focused on specialty finance, insurance, and real estate. Mr. Freyman holds a B.S. in Applied Economics and Business Management from Cornell University.
