David Cynn is a Managing Director of Lightyear Capital and a member of the Investment Committee.
Prior to joining Lightyear Capital in January 2002, Mr. Cynn spent four years as a mergers and acquisitions specialist at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Cynn also worked in mergers and acquisitions as an Associate at HSBC Investment Banking. Mr. Cynn began his career at Chase Manhattan Bank.
Mr. Cynn serves on the Board of Directors of Lightyear Capital portfolio company BakerCorp.
Mr. Cynn received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and an M.B.A. with high honors from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
