Lightyear Capital adds Michael Langer as Managing Director and Member of the Investment Committee
Will Lead Investing Focus in Healthcare Financial Services
New York, September 15, 2022 – Lightyear Capital LLC ("Lightyear"), a New York-based private equity firm that partners with growth companies at the nexus of financial services, technology, healthcare, and business services, today announced that Michael Langer has joined the firm as a Managing Director and member of the firm's Investment Committee. Mr. Langer will be responsible for leading Lightyear's investments within the healthcare financial services sector.

Previously, Mr. Langer was a Partner at Five Arrows Capital Partners, where he focused exclusively on healthcare. He has over 20 years of private equity experience and over 15 years covering the healthcare sector. Mr. Langer has served as a member of the boards of directors of several companies throughout his career.
Prior to joining Five Arrows, Mr. Langer was a Partner at Diamond Castle Holdings and, before that, he worked at DLJ Merchant Banking Partners and Leonard Green & Partners. Mr. Langer holds a BS from Boston College and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
