Lightyear Capital Announces Senior Promotions
Boris Rapoport Appointed to Investment Committee
New York, NY – Lightyear Capital LLC ("Lightyear"), a New York-based private equity firm focused on financial services investing, is pleased to announce a number of promotions in key positions across the firm.
Boris Rapoport has been promoted to Managing Director and appointed to Lightyear’s Investment Committee. Natalie Ings has been promoted to Managing Director.
Doug Chiciak has been promoted to Chief Compliance Officer.
In addition, Lightyear has promoted Jason Ehrlich to Principal, Will Benton to Senior Associate, and Tim Wang to Senior Associate.

Prior to joining Lightyear in 2011, Mr. Rapoport was a Principal at FTV Capital where he spent over eight years working on private equity investments in the financial and business services industries. Mr. Rapoport began his career as an investment banker advising emerging growth companies in the financial technology industry.
Ms. Ings, who leads Portfolio Solutions, focuses on supporting Lightyear's senior management in enhancing value and accelerating growth at Lightyear's portfolio companies. Prior to joining the firm in 2016, she was a Private Equity Controller at Och-Ziff Capital Management and a Senior Vice President, Head of Finance, at Macquarie Infrastructure Partners.
Mr. Chiciak oversees Lightyear’s compliance program. Prior to joining the firm in 2018, he served as Deputy Chief Compliance Officer at New Mountain Capital, Chief Compliance Officer at Saba Capital Management, and Vice President of Compliance at the D.E. Shaw Group.
